High Priority Awarded the 2018 Dick James Small Business of the Year Award

High Priority Plumbing And Services Award

The Covington/Newton Chamber of Commerce hosted its 2019 Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner Thursday night, January 17th, at the Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center. The night was spent celebrating and honoring many different local businesses and the people who make them run.

We are pleased to announce that High Priority Plumbing and Services was awarded the 2018 Dick James Small Business of the Year award! This is an incredible honor and we are so proud of our whole team for making this achievement possible!

The Chamber voted for and awarded us based on the following factors:

  • Economic Development
  • Community Involvement
  • Company Culture

High Priority Plumbing has doubled in size over the last 5 years, both in revenue and number of employees. Our founders, Paulette and Brian,  are now leading a team of nearly 50 employees, which includes a fleet of over 35 service trucks. Even though we have experienced steady growth we still focus on the same principles we did when we were just getting started.

We are also pleased to announce that our founder, Paulette Simpson, was awarded Business Person of the Year by the Rockdale Chamber!

Paulette - Small Business Person of the Year (2)

Paulette Simpson and her husband Brian started High Priority Plumbing in 2001 working out of their home, with just one plumbing truck. Our company has since grown to nearly 50 employees and locations in both Conyers and Savannah, Georgia. In an industry that isn’t always considered trustworthy, Paulette along with her husband Brian started High Priority with a desire to be different. From the beginning, their motto has been “Our Customers are our priority”.

Paulette’s mission for High Priority Plumbing is three-fold:

  1. Provide honest, quality plumbing services to our community at reasonable pricing.
  2. Maintain a company culture that focuses on family and work-life balance while providing opportunities for growth and development for our employees.
  3. Support the communities within our service areas through partnerships, service projects, sponsorships, donations, and job creation.

Paulette won due to her commitment to her employees, community involvement and her excellent customer service! And in true Paulette fashion, she credits her success to her employees. Thank you, Paulette for your hard work, dedication, and kind leadership! We are so proud of you!
